Meet Dennis L. Cosgrove, OD

Dr. Friedrich and the entire staff welcomed Dennis L. Cosgrove, OD, to the family in April 2024.

Dr. Dennis Cosgrove is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care with compassion and empathy. He provides a range of services, including comprehensive eye exams, vision screenings, and management of ocular diseases.

Prior to joining Friedrich Eye Associates, PLLC, he was the Director of Cookeville Eye Specialists and Laser Center from 1996 to 2023. He was an instructor for three years in the Ocular Disease clinic of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, and he received his optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Cosgrove completed his externships at the Chicago Osteopathic Hospital and the Westside Veterans Administration Hospital in Chicago. He finished his training with a residency in the treatment of complex eye diseases at the Illinois Eye Institute.

Dr. Cosgrove enjoys seventies music, all types of sports, especially golf, and is married with three children. He is a wonderful asset to our practice assisting Dr. Friedrich in ensuring our patients have the best care possible.
